Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

iince (“we”, “us”) operates iince.com, a curated job board for remote work in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data. The short version: we collect only what you give us, we use it only to run your job applications, we never sell it, and you can delete it any time.

1. What we collect

  • Application data you provide: name, email address, year of birth, optional phone number, optional city/state, optional resume file, optional portfolio link, optional notes, and which roles you apply to.
  • Skills check results: if you complete a practice task or skills check when applying, its result (for example a score, typing speed or the text you wrote) and, for voiceover roles, the voice recording you choose to submit. Recordings are kept in the same private storage as resumes and are deleted with your data.
  • Consent records: the date and time you accepted this policy when applying.
  • Account data: if you create an optional account, your email and sign-in timestamps (passwordless — we never store a password).
  • Employer inquiries: company name, contact details and role requirements submitted via our employer form.
  • Basic technical logs: standard web-server logs (IP, user agent) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect your exact birth date, government IDs, or payment details — we never ask jobseekers for money.

2. How we use it

  • To process and track your job applications and tell you when your status changes.
  • To review and shortlist applicants for employers — your details are shared with an employer only when we introduce you, never before.
  • To send job-alert emails only if you opted in (every email has a working unsubscribe link).
  • To respond to employer inquiries.
  • To keep the service secure.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where it lives & how it's protected

Data is stored with Supabase (database and private file storage, hosted in the US) and processed by Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email delivery). Resumes are stored in a private bucket accessible only to the iince team through expiring links. Access to applicant data is restricted to iince operators; database-level access rules prevent any user of the site from reading another person's data.

4. How long we keep it

Application data is kept while your candidacy is active and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can consider you for future roles — unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Employer-lead data is kept for the life of the business relationship.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) if you are a California resident. We honor deletion requests regardless of your state.

  • Self-serve: account holders can delete everything from the dashboard (“Delete my account and data”).
  • By email: write to hello@iince.com from the address you applied with; we action requests within 30 days.
  • We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

6. Cookies

We use only functional cookies: keeping you signed in (if you create an account) and remembering the admin session for our own staff. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Age requirement

iince is for adults: you must be at least 18 to apply. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we enforce the minimum age both in our forms and in our database.

8. Changes & contact

If this policy changes materially, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions and requests: hello@iince.com.
