About the job
An online tutoring service matches students with tutors for 30-minute sessions after school.
What you do
- Join a video call and help a student with the homework they are stuck on
- Explain each step in simple words, then let the student try the next one
- Write two or three lines for the parent after each session
Support
Lesson plans and practice sheets are ready for you. Sessions run on weekday afternoons and evenings, and you choose your hours each week.
What you need
- Confident with grade 6 to 8 math (fractions, percentages, simple equations)
- Patient and encouraging
- A computer with a webcam and headset
- Background check required
