Retail Operations Manager — DTC Fragrance Brand, EDI & Order Fulfillment (Remote US)

An established, venture-backed DTC fine-fragrance brand — sold on its own e-commerce site, through national beauty retailers and on major online marketplaces — is hiring a Retail Operations Manager. You'll own how retail orders move from receipt through fulfillment, delivery and invoicing as the brand expands distribution. It's a hands-on, individual-contributor role reporting to the VP of Operations. What you'll do: - Manage orders across retail and e-commerce channels, including future distribution - Validate purchase orders against item data, pricing, quantities, inventory availability and delivery requirements - Coordinate with fulfillment providers on order confirmation, routing, labeling, shipping documents, pickup and delivery - Monitor EDI transactions and retailer portals, and resolve missing or rejected documents - Handle invoicing and reconcile chargebacks - Execute fulfillment priorities when inventory is short, and resolve discrepancies before confirming orders What we're looking for: - Experience in order management across retail/e-commerce channels - Familiarity with EDI, retailer portals, routing and shipping documentation - Invoicing and chargeback handling - Strong cross-functional coordination with Sales, Procurement/Inventory, Finance and fulfillment partners - Comfort with ambiguity and exception resolution, plus a knack for building process, reporting and tools in a fast-growing team How it works: - This is a full-time remote role (US) with roughly 10-20% travel.
