Cookie Policy

All of these cookies are set by hire.iince.com itself (first-party cookies):

• iince_session: keeps you signed in to your freelancer account. It is set only when you sign in or create an account, it is signed and it cannot be read by scripts on the page. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
• iince_signed_in: contains only the value “1” and lets the page header show “My account” while you are signed in. Same lifetime as the session cookie.
• iince_admin: keeps the site operator signed in to the admin area. It is set only for that area (/admin) and only for the operator, never for visitors. It expires after 12 hours.

If you never sign in, the site sets no cookies at all.

Besides cookies, the site keeps two entries in your browser’s local storage. Their content is not sent to us; we only receive an application when you send it:

• iince-cookie-consent: remembers that you closed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again. It stays until you clear your browser data.
• iince-apply-v2: saves your unfinished freelancer application (your entries, completed tests and the step you are on), so you can come back to it. The entry is deleted when you send the application; otherwise it stays until you clear your browser data.

Your language is part of the page address (/en, /es, /de, /ar), so we do not need a cookie for it: the site opens in English, and you can switch language at any time.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tools, and no other company sets cookies through our site. Its fonts are served from our own domain. Your choice in the cookie notice therefore makes no difference to which cookies are set: there are no optional cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Storing and reading these cookies and entries is strictly necessary to provide the services you ask for (signing in, saving your application), so no consent is needed (Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). Where personal data is involved, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for your account and your application, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the cookie notice and the admin area; our legitimate interest is a working, secure website. You can delete this site’s cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, and block cookies altogether. If you block cookies, you cannot sign in to a freelancer account; the rest of the site keeps working. Questions? Email info@iince.com.
