Arabic Live-Chat Support Specialist — Remote E-commerce (Egypt)

A consumer e-commerce platform serving a predominantly Egyptian audience needs an Arabic-only live-chat specialist to be shoppers' first point of contact. All conversations are in Arabic, and most questions revolve around local shipping partners and cash-on-delivery (COD), so local Egyptian knowledge is a real plus. What you'll do: - Greet visitors instantly and answer product questions during agreed shifts - Resolve order and payment concerns - Handle questions around local shipping partners and cash-on-delivery (COD) - Escalate technical issues to the in-house team What we're looking for: - Fluent, natural Arabic (all chats in Arabic only) - Fast, accurate typing with clear grammar and an upbeat, empathetic tone - Experience with a mainstream chat platform (Zendesk, Intercom, LiveChat or similar) - Familiarity with local shipping and COD realities (living in Egypt preferred) - Stable internet and a quiet workspace How it works: - Starts with a paid trial shift so both sides can confirm fit, then moves to a regular weekly schedule with performance bonuses tied to customer-satisfaction (CSAT) scores. - Work happens in the client's chat console during agreed shift windows.
