The brief
A content creator needs a single, high-impact YouTube thumbnail built for one purpose: more clicks. The design should pull the eye immediately - a bold, close-cropped facial reaction, strong contrast, and complementary colours - with just a few sharp words that spark curiosity without crowding the frame. It must stay clear and legible even at small mobile sizes.
What you'll do
- Design one scroll-stopping thumbnail at 1280x720 px
- Edit and colour-grade the supplied photo for maximum contrast and impact
- Add minimal, punchy text that adds curiosity without clutter
- Make sure it reads well in both YouTube light and dark modes, and at thumbnail size
- Deliver a final JPG/PNG under 2 MB plus an editable PSD or layered Canva file
What we're looking for
- Experience designing ad creative or thumbnails that perform
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills (or advanced layered Canva), photo editing and colour grading
- A sharp sense of composition and legibility at very small sizes
- Portfolio pieces showing click-focused design
