The brief
A marketing company working in the celebrity and influencer space is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to turn entertainment and sports industry data into compelling social content. You'll own the full pipeline — generating ideas, designing the graphics, writing the copy, and verifying the data before it's published. The audience is entertainment and sports professionals, so the work emphasizes editorial, information-focused design that stops the scroll.
What you'll do:
- Generate original content ideas and spot relevant industry news
- Design graphics: infographics, carousels, and news graphics
- Write on-graphic copy, headlines, hooks, and captions
- Review researchers' data and sources and run the final quality check
- Manage the content calendar, balancing planned content with timely news
- Learn from post performance to keep improving
What we're looking for:
- A strong graphic design portfolio, especially infographics, editorial graphics, and social carousels
- Ability to take a post from idea through design, caption, and final review
- Strong creative and editorial judgment — finding an angle in a dataset or news story
- Excellent written English; making complex information clear and concise
- Attention to detail; comfort with spreadsheets, percentages, and checking sources
- Proficiency in design tools with organized, editable files
- Initiative, curiosity, reliable communication, and independent deadline management
