Logo Refinement & Motion Designer — Premium News App Brand Mark, Illustrator (Remote)

The client runs a premium short-form digital news app (web and mobile) and wants an experienced brand-identity designer to refine an existing logo rather than start from scratch. The current concept is a squared letter 'G' with a subtle page-flip detail; the goal is a premium, modern, minimal mark that clearly reads as a 'G' and performs well on small news cards. A short logo animation (~0.8s) is also required. What you'll do - Refine the existing 'G' mark into a premium, modern, minimal logo. - Keep it legible at small sizes and on both light and dark backgrounds. - Apply a navy / white / gold palette. - Produce a short (<=0.8s) logo animation for a digital reveal on mobile and web. What we're looking for - Experience in logo redesign and brand refinement (not from-scratch only). - A strong sense of minimal, premium visual identity. - Skill in engineering legibility for small sizes and dark/light backgrounds. - Short-form motion / logo animation ability. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. How it works Source files for the existing logo are provided. Designers propose deliverables, timeline and revision rounds.
