The brief
An established cosmetics brand is refreshing the copy for an everyday-wear lipstick line and is looking for a copywriter who can make each shade sound like a recommendation from a beauty-savvy friend.
What you'll do
- Write short product descriptions (about 60-80 words each) in a warm, conversational, sensory voice
- Bring out how comfortable the formula feels and how the colour holds up through real-life moments
- Add a short, punchy tagline above each description
- Keep every shade consistent with the brand voice
What we're looking for
- Proven product-description or conversion copywriting, ideally in beauty or cosmetics
- A natural, word-of-mouth style and the discipline to write to a tight word count
- Comfort working from shade names, specs and any required claims the brand provides
