The brief
The team behind a leading career and finance YouTube channel is hiring a Creative Director to own the creative engine behind their content — and the content they produce for business owners, YouTube entrepreneurs and coaches. This is a hands-on role, not management from the sidelines: you shape the story in the edit, sit in content decisions with the CEO, and own content end to end from ideation and scripting support through editing and publishing, protecting each creator's voice.
What you'll do
- Shape the video content roadmap with the CEO
- Develop and refine content ideas around each channel's brand and business goals
- Fold YouTube growth strategy — titles, packaging, SEO, analytics — into planning
- Guide long-form editing: pacing, hooks, b-roll, captions and retention structure
- Read performance data and adjust
What we're looking for
- Proven long-form editing on talking-head, podcast or interview content (portfolio of published, linked videos)
- Strong YouTube-native editing instincts
- At least one of: click-worthy thumbnail design OR YouTube strategy (titles, packaging, SEO, analytics, channel growth)
- Excellent English; comfortable collaborating directly with a CEO and clients
- Data-driven but trend-aware; Davao-based and available for a hybrid studio setup
