Creative Producer / AI Animation Director — AI Animated Series (Remote)

An early-stage studio is launching a project to produce animated series with AI, and is hiring the first key member of its creative team: a creative producer and AI animation director who can take a story from first concept to a finished episode and help shape the team as the project grows. You'll lead the creative side of the production pipeline and work directly with the founders and the tool's developer on a pilot. This is creative and story leadership — not programming. What you'll do - Turn original ideas and outlines into screen stories; build and maintain the project bible (world, characters, visual style, storytelling rules) - Direct scenes through composition, camera angles and movement, and shot sequencing - Review and refine scripts for structure, dialogue, pacing and motivation; review voice performances and sound - Use generative AI tools to create characters, environments and voices while keeping them consistent - Select generated images and video, spot errors, and give precise feedback for revisions What we're looking for - Hands-on experience making animation, film, series, commercials, music videos or other narrative video - Strong storytelling, a developed artistic eye and a feel for character, dialogue and continuity - Nice to have: Russian language, animation direction / storyboarding / editing, finished generative-AI projects, 3D previs How it works Remote and project-based, open worldwide. You'll bring episodes from concept through revisions to an agreed quality bar and give the developer practical feedback on the tool, with the chance to help recruit and lead a growing creative team.
