Content Moderator — Youth Online Community (Remote, Independent Contractor)

iince is publishing this role for an established trust & safety outsourcing network that recruits independent moderators to protect online communities for well-known brands. This opening is a youth-focused community, where careful judgement and a genuine interest in keeping young users safe really matter. What you'll do - Monitor comments, messages, mentions and posts across social platforms - Enforce community standards by removing inappropriate, offensive or spam content - Escalate sensitive situations and potential crises to the right internal team - Track recurring trends, FAQs and common complaints to help improve the user experience What we're looking for - A skilled moderator who cares about protecting online spaces - Sound judgement on when to act and when to escalate - A dedicated Windows 11+ computer (8 GB RAM or more) and stable 25 Mbps+ broadband - Willingness to install the provider's security software, pass a background check and verify your identity - Availability within a 24/7 operation, minimum 20 hours per week, with roughly a 120-day commitment How it works This is a remote, independent-contractor engagement.
