Japanese-Language Social Media Community Moderator (Remote, Project-Based)

A social media moderation agency that looks after communities for some of the world's best-known brands is building its Japanese-language talent pool through iince. As work becomes available, you help those communities grow while keeping them safe and on-brand. What you'll do - Moderate and engage digital communities in Japanese and English - Mirror each client's brand voice accurately when you reply to users - Keep communities welcoming, on-topic, and free of harmful content - Moderate live streams when needed - Follow clear guidelines and workflows for each project What we're looking for - Native-level Japanese and a deep grasp of Japanese pop culture, references, and slang - Previous social media moderation experience (live-stream moderation a plus) - Ability to understand and match a brand's tone and engage users well - Experience with moderation tools such as Sprinklr (certification a plus), Khoros, or Sprout Social - Excellent organisation, multitasking, spelling, and grammar - Based in the US or UK How it works This is flexible, on-demand work — project-based, temporary, or part-time, with some 24/7 scheduling. You join the talent pool, and when a matching client project comes up, the team reaches out about availability.
