The brief
An established global community-management company is recruiting gaming moderation specialists for a worldwide gaming project through iince. You help keep the game fair and positive for players.
What you'll do
- Monitor in-game player activity across online multiplayer environments
- Identify unusual or concerning gameplay patterns
- Document what you observe accurately and objectively
- Prepare clear, factual reports for project review
- Follow project guidelines and escalation procedures for potential concerns
What we're looking for
- Professional fluency in English with strong written communication
- A genuine passion for gaming — especially PC and online multiplayer — and familiarity with game mechanics, player behaviour, and terminology
- Excellent observation, attention to detail, critical thinking, and analysis
- Sound judgement on when to escalate, and the ability to separate facts from assumptions
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision; reliable and accountable
- Prior gaming, QA, or community moderation experience is a plus (not required)
How it works
The project runs 24/7 with scheduling based on coverage needs; expect a minimum of 10 hours a week and weekend (Saturday/Sunday) availability. It may be temporary, with continuation depending on client needs. You'll need a dedicated Windows 11 PC (Intel i3 4.0GHz+ or AMD Ryzen 3, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1050 / RX 570, 50 GB SSD, 50/10 Mbps), a 2FA app, a webcam or smartphone for identity verification, and a noise-cancelling headset. Apply through iince — we review every application and introduce strong candidates directly to the client.
