The brief
A global digital storytelling and entertainment platform with a very large worldwide audience is hiring comment moderators through iince. You review user-generated content and enforce the platform's community guidelines.
What you'll do
- Review and investigate visual and written user-generated content, such as comments
- Decide whether content breaches the community guidelines and act on it
- Record your moderation decisions clearly and consistently
- Keep strict confidentiality around user data and moderation decisions
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience moderating user-generated content (comments, forums, or social/trust & safety)
- Good awareness of current US trends, slang, and pop culture
- Bilingual English plus Hindi, Japanese, or Portuguese is a plus (not required)
- Technically comfortable and quick to learn new systems
- A high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable reviewing graphic, sensitive, or disturbing content as a routine part of the work
