The brief
An independent creator is producing a YouTube comedy series — satire built around asking AI chatbots innocent questions and reacting to the answers — and needs a video editor to turn raw footage into tight, punchy episodes. The core work is editing; you'd also help film the talking-head and screen-capture sessions.
What you'll do:
- Edit raw takes into fast-paced, funny YouTube episodes
- Help film talking-head and screen-capture footage
- Shape timing, comedic beats and pacing
- Add special effects where they lift the joke
What we're looking for:
- Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar)
- A feel for comedic timing and punchy pacing
- Comfort filming simple talking-head and screen-capture footage
- Special-effects experience a bonus
How it works:
- Per-project engagement, paid per video; the rate is agreed after a first test video.
- You get a real YouTube series credit and a strong portfolio piece.
- Apply through iince with your editing reel or portfolio.
- We review every application and, when you're a good fit, introduce you to the creator.
How applying works
- Your profile and the short skill tests for this role, about twenty minutes the first time.
- With an account, your details and passed tests are reused; only missing tests are taken.
- We review every application personally and introduce the best fits to the client by email.
