The brief
A marketing talent partner is staffing a short-term project for a national consumer-goods brand (US market): turning employee-generated content into ready-to-post vertical social videos. As a social video storyteller you'll partner with one or two brand teams, review raw footage from a two-day content event, and build five finished short-form assets per brand (9:16, :15 to :90) for Instagram, TikTok and Meta. A traditional editing background isn't required — fast, native social storytelling is the heart of the job.
What you'll do
- Review raw, employee-generated footage and pull the best selects
- Build five vertical videos (9:16, :15 to :90) per brand for Instagram, TikTok and Meta
- Set the hook fast and tell a clear story from real, unscripted footage
- Use native platform graphics, text, emojis and music (no custom motion graphics needed)
- Turn around polished cuts quickly based on the brand team's feedback
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of short-form social, UGC or creator content (brands connecting with parents a plus)
- Strong, quick social storytelling instincts
- Comfort editing in CapCut or natively in Instagram/TikTok (Premiere Pro a plus, not required)
- Speed and organisation to deliver within one week
- Full availability the edit week of Nov 16–20, plus a pre-pro briefing the week of Nov 9
- Based in the US, Eastern time zone preferred

Pay is $260 per finished asset plus $65 for the pre-pro briefing.
