An established international transcription and subtitling company is recruiting freelance transcribers and subtitlers to proofread and finalize transcripts of audio and video from home, in 150+ languages. You join a global community of freelancers, choose the files you want, and work in a purpose-built web editor with keyboard shortcuts that make proofreading fast. What you'll do: - Proofread and finalize machine-assisted transcripts, following the company's transcription guidelines - Work on transcription and, if you choose, subtitle/caption files - Use a custom web-based editor with shortcuts to work efficiently - Choose the files you take on, at your own pace What we're looking for: - Strong language skills in your chosen language - Ability to proofread to a style guide and spot errors - A computer and internet connection, and comfort with a web-based editor - Willingness to pass an assessment test and complete a short questionnaire How it works: - Payouts are bi-weekly by bank transfer in your own currency (rate is per file/per task) - A global online community offers advice and platform help - Apply through iince.
