The brief
A US-based transcription service is recruiting freelance transcribers to correct and finalize automated transcripts of audio files. Because the service provides an AI-generated draft, you save roughly 60% of the typing effort — your job is to listen, apply context, catch mistakes and polish the transcript. The role is open to individuals worldwide with a verified PayPal account.
What you'll do:
- Listen to audio and compare it against the automated draft
- Apply context, identify and correct errors, and finalize the transcript
- Work at your own convenience, taking on as much work as you want
What we're looking for:
- Good English comprehension and the ability to interpret conversations
- Attention to detail to catch and fix mistakes
- A laptop or desktop computer, internet connection and a headset
- A verified PayPal account
How it works:
- Earnings are about US$5–$20 per audio hour (around US$400/month is achievable), paid into your verified PayPal account
- You go through a short certification process, then work on your own schedule
