Remote Transcript Editor & Captioner — Flexible Contract (Work From Home)

An established accessibility and localization company (US-based, serving global clients) is building its roster of remote transcript editors and captioners. The work covers captioning, subtitling and transcript editing across entertainment, corporate and education content — you pick the jobs you want and work on your own schedule. What you'll do - Transcribe recorded audio accurately and edit imperfect or machine-generated transcripts to a high standard - Produce clean captions and subtitles that meet accessibility and quality guidelines - Choose assignments from an available queue (TV, sports, corporate and education producers) - Deliver finished, proofed transcripts on time What we're looking for - Strong English (C1/C2 level) with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation - Sharp attention to detail and a feel for accurate, readable captions - A reliable computer, stable internet and a quiet home workspace - Prior transcription, subtitling or captioning experience is a plus How it works - Pay is per project and per audio-minute, typically settled weekly - Flexible hours — take on as much or as little as you want - Apply through iince.
