Freelance Transcriptionist, Editor & QC Reviewer — Remote (US), Per-Minute Pay

An established US transcription service is building its roster of independent freelancers to transcribe, edit and quality-check short audio files online. You choose how much or how little you work and which jobs you take, so this fits easily around other commitments. What you'll do: - Transcribe short audio clips accurately, following the provider's style guide - Edit and proofread drafts, and run quality checks (QC) on other transcribers' work - Pick assignments from a live Available Jobs list that shows average pay and pay-per-minute - Submit finished work before each deadline What we're looking for: - Strong English listening, grammar and typing skills; high accuracy - At least 18 years old and legally able to work as an independent contractor (you handle your own taxes) - Based in the United States and able to receive payments through a verified PayPal account - Willing to pass a short entry test How it works: - Pay runs from roughly US$0.085 up to just over US$1.00 per audio minute, depending on job type, your level and your grade; payouts are made through PayPal with no fees - Higher grades and badges unlock more and better-paid assignments - Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a good fit, introduce you directly to the client so you can take the entry test and start picking up work.
