Freelance English Transcriptionist — Audio-to-Text, Work From Home (Remote)

We're building a pool of freelance English transcriptionists to turn audio and video into accurate, well-formatted text for an established audio-to-text services company. The work is fully remote and flexible — you choose how often you take on files. What you'll do - Listen to English-language audio and video across many industries and accents and type accurate transcripts - Edit and proofread existing draft transcripts to a high standard - Follow formatting guidelines and meet agreed deadlines - Research names, terms and context so your transcripts stay accurate What we're looking for - English as a first language with excellent command of grammar and spelling - A good ear for a wide range of English accents - Fast, accurate typing plus solid research and editing skills - A working copy of Microsoft Word and audio playback software such as VLC - Residence in a supported country and the ability to pass a short transcription assessment How it works - Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a fit, we introduce you to the client. - New transcribers complete a short assessment and receive paid training on live work. - Pay is per audio minute (USD 0.40–1.20 depending on turnaround), paid monthly via PayPal. There is no application fee and no minimum hours — your earnings grow with speed and experience.
