English (Australian) Voice Contributor — Conversational AI Voice Recording, Remote

A global AI-data company is recording natural Australian-English speech that may be used to create synthesized, AI-generated voices for conversational AI products. They're looking for voice talent who sound like a real person in everyday conversation — not a polished announcer. What you'll do - Read scripted material faithfully in a natural, conversational tone - Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic - Deliver entirely in Australian English without code-switching - Manage your own quiet recording space and equipment What we're looking for - Native or native-equivalent Australian English - Experience as a voice actor, actor, theatre performer or similar - A quiet space free of echo and background noise (acoustically treated if selected) - A dedicated professional-grade microphone for the audition (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini or Blue Yeti); a USB condenser or XLR plus interface if selected — built-in mics, AirPods, earbuds and headsets are not accepted - Closed-back monitoring headphones for session recording - Comfortable self-directing for the audition and taking live direction from a session director - Preferred: professional voice-over experience (dubbing/ADR, audiobook, podcasting) in a conversational register How it works - Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a fit, we introduce you to the client. - If selected: two supervised sessions of about four hours each, guided in real time on a dedicated recording platform. - Before any paid recording begins, you review and sign a consent form covering how recordings are collected, used (including to train synthesized/AI voice models), shared and retained.
