Shopify Tech Lead — Lead an E-commerce Dev Team (Remote, Canada)

A Canadian e-commerce agency is hiring a Shopify Tech Lead to lead the team that designs, develops and scales its clients' Shopify experiences. You'll be the trusted technical leader for the developers and a strategic e-commerce advisor to clients — staying hands-on with Shopify while owning conversion strategy and roadmaps. What you'll do - Stay active in Shopify development: Liquid, Online Store 2.0, custom app development, integrations and third-party APIs - Lead delivery of scalable, secure and performant Shopify solutions (themes, custom apps, API integrations) - Enforce best practices in code quality, security, performance, documentation and maintainability - Mentor and grow developers through pair programming, code reviews and feedback - Advise clients on conversion strategy and e-commerce roadmaps What we're looking for - Deep, hands-on Shopify development experience - A track record leading technical delivery across multiple projects - Strong communication and client-facing advisory skills - Comfortable working bilingually in French and English How it works This is a full-time, remote role within Canadian time zones, spanning multiple client Shopify projects.
