The brief
A marine-equipment retailer (Singapore market) needs a full-featured WooCommerce store that delivers a classic, elegant retail experience with an original layout. An approved homepage prototype, logo and 12-category site map are ready — your job is to turn them into a responsive production site while keeping the existing WordPress instance live until the final switch-over.
What you'll do
- Build a WooCommerce + WordPress store (PHP) from an approved prototype
- Implement a mobile-first responsive design
- Set up robust brand/SKU product search
- Build a request-for-quote (RFQ) workflow
- Add multi-currency display (USD default, with EUR/SGD/MYR/THB/AUD toggles)
- Configure Singapore-eligible payments (card and bank transfer)
- Create technical-services pages
- Run a staged deployment (dev → staging → live) that keeps the current site intact until acceptance
What we're looking for
- Strong WooCommerce, WordPress and PHP build experience
- Ability to build responsively from an approved prototype
- Experience with product search, RFQ and multi-currency setups
- Familiarity with staged deployment workflows
