A client is ready to launch a full-featured online store and needs a developer to handle the build from start to finish. The goal is a clean, responsive e-commerce site — on Shopify, WooCommerce or a recommended comparable framework — that makes adding products and processing payments effortless, supports both physical and digital goods, and is easy for the owner to maintain after hand-off. What you'll do - Build the full e-commerce site (Shopify, WooCommerce or PHP-based) - Set up a product catalogue with search, categories and inventory controls - Configure secure checkout, major payment gateways and tax/shipping rules - Support both physical and digital products - Optimise for mobile, fast load times and on-page SEO - Build an admin/dashboard for orders and reporting - Deliver hand-off documentation and training so the owner can self-maintain What we're looking for - Strong full e-commerce build experience - API development skills - A track record of launched stores (physical and digital goods) - Attention to performance, SEO and responsive design How it works This is an hourly engagement framed as a build-to-launch project.
