E-Commerce Developer — Children's Book Webshop with Print-on-Demand (Remote)

An independent children's book seller (Ireland market) wants a new webshop for selling printed children's books, with a warm, child-friendly design. The core requirement is a fully featured online shop built around print-on-demand fulfilment: the site must pass each order's details straight to the POD provider and keep customers updated with tracking, with secure payments and self-service content management for the owner. What you'll do - Build an e-commerce storefront on Shopify, WooCommerce or a bespoke platform - Integrate a secure payment gateway (Stripe/PayPal) - Connect print-on-demand fulfilment with automated order hand-off and real-time shipping rates - Set up a product catalogue with variants (hardcover/paperback) - Create a warm, child-friendly, responsive design - Provide CMS access so a non-technical owner can manage the store What we're looking for - Proven e-commerce build experience (Shopify, WooCommerce or custom) - Experience with print-on-demand and shipping-rate integrations - Payment gateway integration skills - A good eye for graphic/child-friendly design - A portfolio of similar book or POD storefronts is a plus How it works This is a one-off, fixed-price build.
