Reddit Marketing & Community Growth — Fintech Startup, Remote

An early-stage fintech startup — a social investing and portfolio analytics platform — is looking for an experienced social media marketer to drive targeted traffic, build brand awareness, and generate new user signups, starting on Reddit through authentic community engagement. The core work is community management and organic growth: finding the right subreddits, posting and engaging genuinely, and consistently promoting the platform. It's intended as a long-term partnership that expands into other channels as results come in. What you'll do - Identify relevant subreddits and target audiences - Post and engage authentically, introducing the product in a natural, non-spammy way - Consistently promote the platform and grow its community - Test different approaches, track results, and explain what's working - As results allow, expand into Discord, X, Instagram, and TikTok What we're looking for - An experienced social media marketer with a community-growth track record - Skill creating posts and discussions that introduce a product naturally - Comfort testing and recommending different marketing approaches - Ability to track results and clearly explain what works - Bonus: familiarity with fintech, investing, or finance communities How it works This is an hourly, long-term partnership starting at around $20/hour, beginning on Reddit (where the client has already seen traction) and expanding to other platforms if results are positive.
