The brief
A US comedy and improv company (based in Maine) needs a reliable assistant for ongoing, repetitive Facebook posting. The owner belongs to 100+ local Facebook groups and wants someone to follow an exact process for posting supplied promotional messages and the occasional video into those groups, twice a week. This is pure scheduling, posting, and record-keeping — no content creation or strategy required.
What you'll do
- Post supplied promotional messages and occasional videos into 100+ local Facebook groups
- Follow an exact, documented process and respect each group's posting rules
- Keep accurate records of what was posted and where
- Work about 2–4 hours per week, spread across two days (roughly 1–2 hours each)
What we're looking for
- Reliability and careful attention to instructions
- Comfort following a repetitive process exactly, without cutting corners
- Good record-keeping
- No design, copywriting, or strategy skills needed — this is entry level
- Willingness to agree a secure, workable access arrangement for the owner's profile and groups before starting
How it works
Ongoing part-time engagement of about 2–4 hours a week. The client provides the content, instructions, and a walkthrough of the process, and an access arrangement is agreed up front. The listed rate is $26/hour; the client has a modest starting budget and asks applicants to quote their lowest weekly fee and the hours it covers, with scope and pay growing as reliability is proven.
