The brief
An enterprise technology services provider supporting US public-sector programs is hiring a full-time ServiceNow QA Tester. This is a manual QA role: validating workflows, writing and executing test cases, and tracking defects through to resolution. Test automation (ServiceNow ATF) is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
What you'll do
- Develop, document, maintain and execute detailed test cases and UAT scripts
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing of ServiceNow forms, reports, configurations, workflows and role-based access controls
- Validate enhancements, defect fixes, integrations and release changes across dev/test environments
- Identify, document, track and retest defects through to resolution
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders, support UAT coordination and release readiness, and take part in Agile ceremonies
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of software testing/QA experience in Agile environments
- 3+ years testing ServiceNow (or comparable enterprise workflow platforms)
- Hands-on experience across functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills with sharp attention to detail
- US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, plus a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Nice to have: ServiceNow ATF/test automation, CSA certification and ISTQB CTFL certification
