The brief
An early-stage SaaS company is getting its web app ready for public launch and needs a sharp manual QA tester for a focused, one-day testing pass. This is hands-on manual testing and bug reporting — no test automation framework required.
What you'll do
- Run core user journeys end to end and probe realistic edge cases
- Hunt for functional defects, UI/UX inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks
- Check that the app behaves correctly across standard mobile viewport sizes and orientations
- Document every issue with severity, clear reproduction steps, your device/environment details and screen recordings
What we're looking for
- Solid manual QA / software testing experience with an eye for detail
- Ability to design and execute end-to-end and edge-case scenarios
- Clean, developer-ready bug reports backed by video evidence
- Capacity to deliver within a 24-hour turnaround once you're given access
- It helps your application to note the devices (make/model/OS) you'll test on and share a sample of a past bug report and screen recording
