The brief
An early-stage software product is close to public launch and wants a sharp pair of hands to pressure-test the app before it goes live. This starts as a single one-day testing pass and, for the right tester, becomes a recurring monthly engagement.
What you'll do:
- Run complete user journeys end to end: sign-up, core actions and the tricky edge cases
- Try to break things on purpose - rapid tapping, repeated form submissions, toggling network connectivity on and off
- Check responsive behaviour across common mobile screen sizes and orientations
- Flag UI/UX inconsistencies, performance slow-downs and defects
- Document each issue clearly: severity, exact reproduction steps, device/OS details and a short screen recording
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on manual QA, usability or mobile-app testing experience (no coding needed)
- A methodical, detail-first approach and a knack for finding the bugs others miss
- Clear bug write-ups with reproducible steps and video proof
- Able to deliver within 24 hours once access is provided
How it works:
Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a good fit, we introduce you to the client. The first project is a one-day trial; strong work leads to an ongoing monthly testing contract.
How applying works
- Your profile and the short skill tests for this role, about twenty minutes the first time.
- With an account, your details and passed tests are reused; only missing tests are taken.
- We review every application personally and introduce the best fits to the client by email.
