The brief
We're looking for everyday people to act as remote usability testers for websites and apps. You'll complete realistic tasks - like browsing, signing up or checking out - while recording your screen and voice and narrating your thoughts out loud. Your honest, in-the-moment reactions show designers exactly where real users get stuck.
What you'll do
- Complete set tasks on a website or app as if you were a real customer
- Record your screen and speak your thoughts, reactions and frustrations aloud
- Answer a short written survey after each session
- Give clear, honest, specific feedback
What we're looking for
- A computer or mobile device with a microphone and screen/voice recording
- Ability to think aloud naturally and clearly in English
- A PayPal account for payouts
- Reliability and attention to the task instructions
How it works
- Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a good fit, connect you with the product team running the studies.
- Tests are short and project-based (about 15-20 minutes for standard sessions; live/moderated sessions run longer).
- You're paid per completed test - roughly $5 for standard tests and $15-$30 for live sessions - typically via PayPal after each test is reviewed.
