The brief
A website owner wants a sharp-eyed tester to switch between iPhone and Android handsets and report exactly how the site looks and behaves on each screen size, orientation and OS version. The goal is to stress-test the responsive design before real users ever hit a glitch.
What you'll do:
- Browse, tap, swipe and rotate devices across iPhone and Android
- Stress-test responsive design: text alignment, interactive elements, spacing, breakpoints, font rendering and colour consistency
- Test across browsers - Safari/WebView, Chrome, Firefox and Samsung Internet
- Capture screenshots or short screen recordings and note each device/OS/browser combination
- Deliver a concise report grouped by device and browser, with suggested fixes
- Confirm pages render correctly after revisions
What we're looking for:
- Access to and comfort with both iOS and Android devices
- A keen eye for visual and layout inconsistencies
- Clear, well-organised reporting
- No automation - this is hands-on device testing
How it works:
Apply through iince with your approach to mobile UI/UX reviews. We review every application and introduce strong testers to the client, who shares a staging link and a short checklist of user journeys. Ongoing - a few hours each week whenever new builds drop, to catch regressions.
