Manual QA Tester - E-commerce Web, iPhone & Android (Real Devices)

A growing online retailer with native mobile apps needs a detail-focused manual QA tester to validate its complete purchase journey on real hardware - not emulators. You'll put the full flow through its paces across the website, iPhone and Android: creating an account, passing in-app age/identity verification, placing real test orders, and checking every notification and on-screen detail. This is a one-off, fixed-scope project. What you'll do - Install and test the store's website and native apps on a real iPhone and a real Android phone (note models and OS versions) - Register and personally complete in-app age/identity verification (used to gate age-restricted products) - Place real test purchases with your own Mercado Pago account for both Delivery and Pickup (small amounts; purchase costs are advanced or reimbursed separately from your fee) - Verify notifications on web and both apps: receipts, order updates, duplicates, legibility and tap-to-open - Review screens for cut-off text, sizing, contrast, overlaps and overall ease of use What we're looking for - Your own physical iPhone and Android device - A working Mercado Pago account - Solid manual QA / software-testing experience and a sharp eye for usability issues - Able to write a clear bug report in Spanish with reproduction steps and screenshots/video (sensitive data hidden) How it works - Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a good fit, introduce you to the client. - Fixed-price, one-off project. Order progress is simulated - there's no physical delivery or pickup. - Deliverable: a short report of what was tested and the bugs found, with steps to reproduce and media captured from the real devices.
