The brief
An early-stage startup (with its product owner based in the United States) is preparing to launch a new dating app for the CIS market and needs a small group of reliable manual QA testers who actually live in the region. This is real manual testing - not a click-and-forget gig - and you'll also give honest feedback as a local user about what works for your market.
What you'll do
- Test the complete user journey on a real iOS device: registration, profile setup, browsing, matches, chat, and settings
- Push edge cases: empty fields, bad photos, rapid tapping, switching networks
- Document every bug with screenshots or screen recordings and clear steps to reproduce
- Submit a structured report using a provided template
- Add separate local-market feedback on what's convenient and useful for users in your country
What we're looking for
- A basic understanding of manual QA and software testing
- Ability to write clear bug reports (more than "it doesn't work")
- Residency in a CIS country excluding Russia and Ukraine (e.g. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova)
- Your own iOS smartphone and a stable internet connection
- Attention to detail; experience with TestFlight or Google Play internal testing is a plus, not a must
How it works
- Apply through iince. We review every application and, when you're a fit, introduce you to the client.
- Pay is per tester depending on the depth of your report, plus a bonus for each properly documented critical bug. There may be ongoing work on future releases.
How applying works
- Your profile and the short skill tests for this role, about twenty minutes the first time.
- With an account, your details and passed tests are reused; only missing tests are taken.
- We review every application personally and introduce the best fits to the client by email.
