The brief
An established global localization company is hiring a Kazakh Localization QA Tester / Proofreader for a stable, long-term, full-time remote role. You'll make sure localized Kazakh content reads naturally and is error-free, and you'll QA-test digital products hands-on — a manual, no-code role for a native Kazakh speaker with strong English.
What you'll do
- Review and refine localized Kazakh content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting and cultural accuracy
- Execute test cases and explore user interfaces to spot localization or functional issues
- Report defects through internal bug-tracking systems and verify fixes once implemented
- Occasionally translate content from English into Kazakh
- Act as a linguistic subject-matter expert — research and resolve language questions
- Work to project-specific quality standards, style guides, checklists and glossaries
What we're looking for
- Native-level Kazakh (from Kazakhstan) with strong cultural awareness
- Strong written and verbal English
- Sharp attention to detail and genuine interest in QA of digital products
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
- Ideal backgrounds: marketing, journalism, copy editing, proofreading, writing, translation or localization
