AI Data Quality & Annotation Specialist — English, Remote (Philippines)

An established global AI-data company is hiring a detail-oriented AI Data Quality & Annotation Specialist to help build and evaluate large language models (LLMs). Working in English, you'll review content against structured guidelines — judging sentiment accuracy, factual consistency and reasoning quality — and apply the same labelling standards across large volumes of tasks. This is a remote, freelance engagement. What you'll do - Review and label English content for sentiment, factual accuracy and reasoning issues. - Evaluate model outputs across quality dimensions using scoring frameworks. - Validate automated assessments and flag discrepancies or errors. - Write clear, well-reasoned justifications for your decisions. What we're looking for - Advanced, professional-level English (reading and writing). - Strong comprehension and the ability to explain your reasoning in writing. - Previous experience in data annotation, AI training or similar projects. - A background in an analytical field (linguistics, journalism, research...) is a plus. - Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and consistency. - Familiarity with LLMs or evaluation workflows is helpful but not required.
